    Boost Time on Compact Disc
“Boost Time” is an album of compositions by Piotr Lemańczyk, recorded with electric instruments. The musician invited to cooperation outstanding musicians of the Polish scene: Krzysztof Herdzin (Moog Synthesizers), Marcin Wądołowski (Guitar), Tomasz Łosowski (Drums), Cezary Paciorek (Fender Rhodes), Dominik Bukowski (Vibraphone), Szymon Łukowski (Tenor & Soprano Sax), Mikołaj Stańko (Drums), Ariel Suchowiecki (Fender Rhodes).
It is a project in which Piotr Lemańczyk comes back to the bass guitar after over ten-year break. Inspired by the six-string electric bass, he composed music that has become a complement of his previous activities. By exploring the sounds of “non-acoustic” instruments, it complements and significantly broadens the possibilities of artistic expression. “I love a lot of music genres but I don’t want to limit myself in any of them,” emphasizes the leader.
As far as the sound is concerned, the project refers to the most outstanding creators of this genre. One can hear the echoes of Allan Holdsworth, “Bitches Brew” by Davis, Chick Corea Electric Band, as well as the reference to the works of the greatest Polish composers of the 20th century. Noble harmony, sound culture and a whole range of moods give the music a lot of individual features and constitute its uniqueness.
In the project, musicians of the young generation were involved, whose artistic achievements, despite their young age, include significant distinctions and awards. These musicians are outstanding and versatile, having a strong influence on what is currently happening on the young Polish jazz scene.

    Piotr Lemańczyk about "Boost Time"
“This album is a project in which I return to the world of the bass guitar after a break of more than ten years. I was inspired by the six-string bass. It allows me to express myself in a more artistic way. Music included on this album is a complement, broadening of the vision and the desire to move around different, very interesting regions of jazz music. It is an honour and a great adventure. Have a nice reception”.
